Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q: Do you only paint at weddings?A: Not at all! While wedding painting is my most requested service, I also offer live painting for corporate events, anniversaries, milestone birthdays, brand activations, and other special celebrations. If you're looking to elevate your event with live art, I can tailor the experience to fit your occasion.
-
Q: What is live wedding painting?A: Live wedding painting is a unique and interactive form of entertainment that doubles as a lifelong keepsake. A professional artist paints a moment of your choosing from your wedding in real time, for your guests to watch throughout the evening. Guests are welcome to paint with the artist and make their mark as a collaborative gift for the couple. After your wedding day, not only will you and your guests have a fun memory, but you will own a custom, hand-painted piece of artwork that you will forever capture your big day.
-
Q: Do you offer gift cards for your services?A: Yes! Gift certificates are available and can be used toward custom commissions or live event painting services. They make a perfect wedding gift or group present if the couple is still deciding on their vendor budget.
-
Q: Do you travel for live painting services?A: Yes! I’m a live event painter based in Austin, Texas, but I travel for select destination weddings and events each year. I accept up to 4 out-of-state or international bookings annually, so if you're planning a destination celebration, be sure to grab your spot early! Travel fees apply for events more than one hour from Round Rock, Texas.
-
Q: Can you add personal details to the painting?A: Absolutely! Every painting is fully customizable. If there are special touches about your day that you would like highlighted, we can design a way for them to fit into your composition. My most popular requests are pets, nods to loved ones who have passed away, collages, clues as to how you met, and more!
-
Q: How far in advance should I book a live painter for my event?A: Because I accept a limited number of events each year, it's best to book as early as possible—ideally 6 to 10 months in advance. Live wedding and event painting slots fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons.
-
Q: What do you need from us on the day of the event?A: For setup, I’ll need a 6x6 ft. space, access to an outlet (though I can bring a battery pack if needed), and a location with good visibility for guests to enjoy the painting in progress. This ensures your guests have the best possible viewing and interactive experience.
